Learning objectives

After completing this module, pharmacy technicians will be able to:    

  • Describe how CV risk is used to guide lipid modification treatment 
  • Explain what the 2019 NHS Long Term Plan says about cardiovascular disease
  • List the key points to discuss with a patient regarding lifestyle modification and/or prescribed statin therapy.
