Learning objectives

Aim: To raise awareness among pharmacy technicians of the needs of patients with sensory impairment.

Objectives:

  • Understand the challenges that individuals with sight or hearing impairment might face in the pharmacy
  • Adapt patient consultations accordingly
  • Identify how the pharmacy environment could be made more accessible for these patients.
