This module is the latest in a series of modules designed to support the pharmacy team deliver Common Condition and Pharmacy First services in the UK.   

Aim

To help pharmacy technicians update their knowledge of uncomplicated urinary tract infection – one of the conditions included as part of the Pharmacy First service.   

Objectives

After completing this module and its online counterpart, pharmacy technicians will be able to:     

  • Recognise those eligible for the service
  • Be aware of the three key signs and symptoms to look out for
  • Be able to advise on all the management options available.
